Medical Negligence

Medical negligence is the term used to describe treatment by a medical professional which has not met the accepted standards of care.

The treatment which caused you injury or harm may have been delivered by a GP, surgeon, nurse, midwife, dentist or any medical practitioner who works within the NHS.

Medical negligence can sometimes cause quite long-term problems including prolonged recovery, unnecessary scarring, permanent disability or inability to work or look after yourself.
