Medical negligence is the term used to describe treatment by a medical professional which has not met the accepted standards of care.
The treatment which caused you injury or harm may have been delivered by a GP, surgeon, nurse, midwife, dentist or any medical practitioner who works within the NHS.
Medical negligence can sometimes cause quite long-term problems including prolonged recovery, unnecessary scarring, permanent disability or inability to work or look after yourself.
If you have had an accident which you believe was caused by the result of negligence on the part of a local authority or pubic body, contact us for advice.
