Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
At the time of an accident, physical injuries, damage to property and financial strain can consume your life. What might not be clear is how the event has affected your state of mind and mental health.
Thousands of people, throughout Scotland deal with Anxiety and Depression every year. As part of our Total Care service we can offer specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, CBT, to those that need help resuming their life, post accident.
CBT is a form of talking therapy that focuses on how your mind thinks towards certain thoughts, images, beliefs and attitudes, and explores how those thoughts impact the way in which you behave and deal with your emotions. CBT is popular because it is a rather quick therapy course. Sessions last about an hour per week and usually continue for a course of 6 months. CBT has a very positive track record in helping those affected by anxiety, depression and anger.
We have teamed up with some of Scotland's specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapists so that our clients receive only the best level of care. As always we ensure that any costs and fees are paid by the party at fault, so you will receive your CBT without adding any financial strains.
